  1. @System In PR coop you need to stand next to the person to heal and stab them with an EpiPen to revive. I my option that is less difficult than looking up a spread sheet...

On top of that IMHO if you want to introduce milsim medical you have to have a player base that 1) wants it (in sufficient numbers) 2) understands basic combat formations to reduce the amount of injuries and 3) soft qualifications for those who do want to get milsim medical training.

As seen in the poll most don't desire more advanced medical functions, most don't respect or call for combat formations (as seen when participating) and having only a hand ful of people doing Medic is limiting in numbers and frustrating when there are no-shows..

..but that's perfectly OK. Sure, if there is drive in the arma community to step up the game and dive into a more serious environment no problem, let's try it out. I just don't think it's a particularly fruitful endeavor.

Or just play with LAMBS! They seem to be doing this just fine for decades.

Okay, I'm not an idiot, my ex might argue that point but FFS, could there be a game more complex, less intuitive than ARMA? This is genuinely the most user unfriendly game ever produced. Did the designers have a soul purpose to make a game so fucking complex only nerds and people without jobs having time to learn how to play this nightmare?

I can't get past the tutorial where I have to add a scope to my gun! I'm told to go to the create, says grab and drop the scope to my gun but the scope is grayed out! Why the fuck would I want to delve deeper into the unrefined horror show of a poorly designed game complicated with DOC at every turn? Is game play that much better? Or is it just the better graphics everyone gets a hard on about? Sorry, but I just can't get my head around why ARMA is worth the effort needed to play. Countless hours setting up, dealing with DOC, working out the university degree needed to be a fucking medic.

I'm sure I am missing something because you guys all like it so much. Can someone explain to me why? If anybody says graphics, one answer, "go pound salt"! LOL

The answer isn't that we should convince you to play Arma. I would raise the question: Do you want to? Do you have motivation to sit down and learn to get into the game? If not, why waste your time?

After all, Arma is a sandbox at the mercy of the mission makers. They can either make it simple or complex. Some like it more simple, others want the complexity. I like pineapple pizza but Stixon would court marshall me for that.

The Arma single player campaigns are the most soft introductions to Arma but do not represent the full range.
