You may want to get a bigger power supply as the minimum for the ATI 6970 is 550W. I would go for at least a 650W or a 700W.

well its a pre built system but im gonna upgrade it anyway for more ram and i guess il buy one then.
but its strange why did they but a 520w on the system when the radeon need 550 ...

Pre-built systems often cut things as close to the margin as possible to maximize their profits - if you have power issues, you will need a 550W PSU, I like the Corsair Gaming Series 600W I have now, and well priced at $75US.

Also, being a pre-built, I assume it's a Power Color 6970? Just make sure it's not that brand. Diamond, Saphire, XFX....these are the "good" brands. FIND OUT!!! This is a $300 part, and one of the 4 key parts that must be well made, or it's stats are just smoke and mirrors (phoney numbers, fixed "tests", fugazi)

What case? Maybe if it sucks, you could swap it for that awesome CoolMaster you got. I love the filtered intakes on the front!

$999 seems like a damn good deal, just watch the brand names on key parts and know where your money is going.
