ARMA vs. Battlefield 2: Project Reality

I am think about getting ARMA and want to see if anyone had any comparisons good or bad to Battlefield 2: Project Reality. I mainly play Project Reality and wanted some feed back on what everyone thought about the two. Let me know your thoughts. Should I spend the money and get it? or just stay playing Project Reality?

I don't recommend torrents for the game, They have introduced a security measure which makes the game go all wavy and you cant see anything.

Dude, you can install demo version from steam and try it out.
Don't try to stole it, their FADE system makes the game unplayable.

I have the OA stand alone version, can I join online also I wonder, with you guys with both? Only played it a few times before coming back to PR, but never tried it online.

swarovski, of course you can. You just can't use some weapons from original Arma 2, like M4SD.

I don't recommand steam. Arma 2 and steam donl't mix well. Try and find a DVD of Combined Ops. This will have the original version of arma2 and arma2:OA. Then later get a copy of Reinforcements. Or you can buy BAF and PMC seperately. But it isn't required. Only if you want the high end graphic models.

ah well...too late already bought it off Steam...but my vid card doesnt cut it (9400GT).. what are the problems with Steam/Arma?

There some issues with combining Arma 2 and OA in steam.
