Hey guys I know someone from Twitter that is trying to get us introduced to the people from the Clancey series of games. Here is what she sent:

Scott: Thom is a new client of mine. He's the son of the author - has a background in games testing and was responsible for helping his Dad through some hoops during the Ubisoft deal for Ghost Recon. Think you guys should be connected. I've sent your profile to him - so you'll likely get an invite from him. What do you think about an interview or something?since his Dad's novels and subsequent games were often centered around military themes, it could be fun for you to do something w/Thom on the site. He's a big fan of MMOs. He's starting his consultancy - writing, some media things, advising devs. Kinda leaving it with you to see if you could find a creative way to utilize him in a way that could be a draw for both of you. M.

That sounds sweet Blud, loved playing Ravenshield back in the day, every weekend jumping online with Kiwi and Hammering the bots, Great fun, wish they would remake it, keep it the same gameplay and modability, but give it the graphical glory of the newer releases

Awesome!! I'd love to work with, or even just chit-chat with Thom about military games and the MMO experience! I have a dream that the FPS/MMO genre will meld into some amazing RPG games one day, similar to how DayZ has brought those elements to Arma.

Great game tonight. Thank you Speirs. We need more players though.

BTW, if you have any troubles with the steam version, try this:
1. Verify integrity of game cache.
2. Disable Steam community in game.
(to do both go in Library - right click on game - properties - local files(to verify cache)
3. Disable Xfire. (optional)

Now for error 80 - it's not a game error, just steam fucked something up.
This thing might happen if:
1. Steam files are set to read only.
2. Something is wrong with your videocard drivers.
3. Wrong region. Steam - Settings - Downloads - Cloud
4. Something else.
Don't forget to restart your steam after making changes.

Error Code 80 on Steam- what does this mean and, more importantly, what can I do?

"While not an actual solution, I've been able to circumvent this problem by closing Steam, and re-opening it. This will allow you to launch the game successfully, but only once. If you quit the game, and try to launch it again, it won't work. To get it to launch again, simply repeat the process - close Steam, re-open it."
