Guns and Ammo

This is Betsy. My Generation 4 Glock 17. It's where I keep my bullets!

In the pics also are 59 rounds of FMJ, TMJ, and JHP (some badass LE Remington Bonded rounds made to keep their badassitude even after piercing auto glass or the like). Should have taken off the large grip extension with the beaver tail in the exploded picture, but it didn't come to mind at the time. The Gen 4 also comes with a medium grip extension with a beaver tail, and a medium and large without the tails. After hundreds and hundreds of rounds of target practice this summer, I firmly prefer the large extension with the beaver tail.

I suppose you'd have to shoot side by side with an older Glock to notice any difference with the new double spring in the Gen 4, but I gotta say, even with 147 grain, this weapon is extremely controllable even with rapid fire. Also comes with a third mag, which is nice - they cost $50 or more if you don't go somewhere nice like AmmunitionDepot.com or the like. What can I say? I'm in love!

Eternal thanks to Eclipse for the dog tags - I wear these with pride every day. I might have to make this pic into a signature or something...

While I had the camera out, I had a little fun making an Arma-like shot of my "map page". This is a high-res pic, and can be zoomed in close enough to read much of the map, but the lettering of the GPS coords is too small. The "digital GPS" is my Kindle Fire with US Forest Service maps loaded into it in PDF - very detailed, but dating back to 1994, they show roads that do not exist anymore which can get confusing at times.

Interesting notes in this pic, my house in Portland is just off the tip of the Humidity dial, and the camp site where I took this picture is just Northwest of the Compass dial, by the word Oklahoma. That giant river mid-map flowing east to west separates Oregon and Washington - top of map is Washington. I love living so close to the mountains! Makes me feel I'd have a slight chance to get the fuck out of Dodge City if the shit ever hit the fan.

Since you posted your gun pictures, i might as well put up mine so that people can keep this post going :)

1. GSG 1911 .22 LR
- 1911 in a .22 lr. It's so much fun to shoot, and you don't have to worry about .45's massive recoil at all.
I miss the days when .22 lr was actually cheap to buy anywhere in the U.S.
Those days are gone, i guess.....

2. Glock 19 Generation 4
- Nothing fancy here. Typical glock, and it works whether you want to take care of it or not.
Some people say that glock gen 4 has less recoil thanks to dual spring under the barrel, but i couldn't feel the difference.
One thing though, people love gen 3 but some people hate gen 4.
I guess i am not the one who hates gen 4, or hate glock in general.

3. Zastava N-PAP Generation 2
- Former yugoslavian, or now known as serbian ak. Chambered in 7.62 x 39 mm and it has distinctive handguard and stock.
As you might expect, this thing kicks like a mule if you don't grip it properly.
I was unaware of buttstock hitting a man's cheek before so after 30 rounds or so i had a visible bruise by the end of the day.
Maybe i will take this one day when my friends want to shoot. I might as well teach him a lesson, huh? ;)

4. S&W M&P 15-22
- AR-15, in 22 lr. This is in fact my first gun i've bought.
I had to make a choice between this and Ruger 10-22, and i am happy i chose this thing.
I know 10-22 is a good gun, but i just wanted something more beefier than plain-old wooden stock and boring design.
Thanks to this, i know a thing or two about AR-15, and i am seriously thinking about buying .223/5.56 AR-15 in near future.
Hey, man can dream right?

P.S) I just bought Norinco SKS too, but i won't be able to grab it from the shop until 29th.
P.S) And i just realized that i didn't include Maverick 88 shotgun i bought recently. I am kinda lazy to put that picture up
P.S) BTW, I live in Seattle, WA

I know everyone's trying to post something funny, but I'm going to be that guy and actually talk about my guns.

Why? Because I like to brag about stuff and this is the only thing in my life I can brag about.

In the last 5 years I've been working really hard on expanding my collection and feel comfortable showing them off without having someone chime in and tell me how poor and cheapskate I am (and it happened before). And before you go further, people have told me that I have/bought too many guns and I should talk to an counselor, psychologist, or something, so get in line if you want to tell me what I've been hearing about in last 5 years LOL.

Well... without a further ado, here are my collection (name, caliber, country of origin below the photos):

IWI Tavor SAR (5.56mm, Israel)

Kel-Tec RDB (5.56 mm, USA)

H&K/Walther MP5 SD (.22 LR, Germany)

AR-15 "Pistol" (5.56mm, USA)

If you counted all of them, it should come out to 42 guns (22 Rifles, 14 Pistols, 1 Revolver, and 5 Shotguns).

Technically I have 43 but the last one (M70B1, aka Yugoslavian AK-47) is still in a local gun shop waiting to be picked up and I have not taken a photo of it yet. For those of you who're curious, I have purchased 16 guns this year, which is a surprise even from myself. I have bought 9 guns in 2018, and 9 guns in 2017, so this year marks the year when I bought the most amount of guns (not to mention how much I spent as well).

Oh and one more thing..... If you want to see these guns in action, check out my YouTube channel.

And no, I'm not trying to promote my channel or make money out of it.

Zzzang... you're nuts.

Well... I was in Austria for a while this year after my divorce, and this guy, the neighbor of the girl I was staying with, invited me to go to a "Private" wine cellar.

So I was like sure why not.

It was indeed a wine cellar and also a shooting range. In the cellar so that's some loud bangs. The dude had so many guns I think more than 20 at least. I had a blast (pun intended) drinking wine and shooting all day.

I was a bit worried when the guys loaded their rifles visibly drunk and kept waving them around so I forced them to use normal protocol. Which led to an argument *ugh* which I won in my best German by explaining that unless you're ready to shoot your chamber should be empty and always point your gun to the floor not in my face.

That be said. It was a Cool afternoon.

That MP5 is quiet as hell. Zzang. Bit freaky. Is that legal?

Its a .22 and you can get any suppressor with a $200 federal tax stamp which are easy to get. It's the same tax stamp you would need for an automatic weapon, but this all depends on the state you live in.

In Arizona, where I am, I can own pretty much anything from automatics to "destructive devices" and Suppressors, however, California, which is right next door, can't even own 30 round Stanags or an AR15 with a normal pistol grip....

A Soldier got arrested for having a 30 Stanag in his car when he left fort drum in New York, so it can get a bit confusing with gun laws here if you start crossing state lines.

ZZANG wins the apocalypse - new plan: Rally at his house; kill zombies; live.

I have plenty of guns and ammo to go around, I am seriously lacking in food now.

If you bring food, I'll let you in.

I'm actually planning to buy a PPK sometime in near future. I had a chance to buy PP, but decided not to.

I would love to buy a WW2 PPK with Nazi eagle stamp, but boi they are EXPENSIVE.

It's actually a .22 replica, and the silencer/suppressor is fake. So even if it looks quiet it is still NOT hearing safe.
