Long story short I've spent a long time modding PR as some of you know and I've learnt a few things over the years. These events fall into a more serious category regarding difficulty, but hopefully just as fun as regular PR. Signups are now open and available for asset positions and commander, infantry squads will be made on the day as per regular PR Entry is simple, download the files (LINK). Check the forums on the day for server password. Join the server. Have fun. Rules are standard =VG= coop rules but the commander has final say in squad movements and attacks, obstructive squad leaders will be resigned.   2. If they don't join a squad and play as a team what makes you think forcing them to join a squad is going to make them anymore of a team? If the server is full and there are no afk players, and there are people on TS who want to join, I think it's fair to say the unsquaded can be kicked, but only when those conditions are met which is next to never
  3. 1) No, we do not have a forced squad rule nor is it to be enforced by our admins. 2) No, you're admins to keep the server in order. You're not required to lead squads or play anyway you don't actually want to. (Besides abiding by the rules) Play the position you want to play. 3) Unless it's a full squad or close to it I normally have no issue with it. I believe in not causing drama when there's no need, If the pilots are happy I don't care. 4) Yes, because there is a chance for the enemy to recapture. Obviously it takes less to defend than to offend, so the more capable squads should be on the offense. 5) Depends on the situation, but it may fall under disruptive gameplay and you can resign. You don't need to obey order but should at least consider all valid orders.
  4. Now, you were very clearly warned multiple times. And I went and had a look at the chat logs which shows you spamming useless, annoying shit. So... You're very much in the wrong here and deserved what you got.
  5. Please try to understand that telling us to "fix" the server crashes isn't possible unless we have information on what's happening. If you want to help please tell me, The map it crashes on, the map you played before the crash and if possible, the map before that as well as anything else you think miught be useful

  7. That's exactly what Means. APC squads get the claims on APC and IFV assets, mech inf gets left overs
  8. It's complicated, the opfor layouts can only be done when both teams speak the same in game language, Russia and Militia / Mec and insurgents. Otherwise the languages are messed up, example muttrah as opfor layer the MEC would speak american and Americans middle east language. I need to have my [R-Dev] tags show on my name for these posts! BTW, in case anyone was unsure, this looks great and my first post was sarcasm

  12. I posted yesterday but must have been deleted with the site doing whatever it did There is no reason any admin below a server head needs to use the !admins command. The biggest issue I see in this threads people have with it is As per the admin rules If every admin joined TS as they should there'd be no need for the command. If you're not, well you shouldn't get a say in what map gets set next anyway. ADMIN COMMAND STAYS REMOVED! THREAD LOCKED!
  13. I made a new mesh specifically so we can run kashan on the server without the bots crashing into things. Might have just accidently gotten removed from the maplist. If it was on purpose whoever did it should shoot me a pm. Kashan coop will be in the next version (1.4)
  14. It's never been allowed. APC, Jeeps and trucks are the only assets inf squads can use and apc only when designated as a mech inf squad

  16. Thanks De4d, you're definitely one of our most dedicated and least complained about admins. Cheers for being there for the PR server all these years. You and all the other great players are the ones who keep me around. These days I don't play nearly as much PR as I used to, but that doesn't mean I love the server any less. I'll definately try to jump on next time I see you !giveheart
  17. Fastjack, maybe look in the AIradiomessages for aiComm.addAIRadioMessage "attack_position" 20 2 20 And change the numbers to aiComm.addAIRadioMessage "attack_position" 30 60 60 And see if that slows he commander spam
  18. Admins are asked to be on TS3 so they are easily reachable. Thwy don't need to be in the same channel as everyone else, but they need to be around so the can be contacted privately if need be. Admin permissions are given based on numerous things. Most as zzang mentioned. Teamplay, rule following, respect for fellow players, maturity. There's also more chance of achieving mod privileges if a current admin recommends you, so get to know the admins. In the end it falls to a small discussion between a few of us. @rotblut/anyone else experiencing, if there's admins you see breaking the rules or being disruptive. Or there's an issue you want to chat about, feel free to send me a pm anytime. I'll make aure it's dealt with.

  21. Okay. Just the gpu/cpu are going to set me back $700 aus. Is there cheaper options that will do almost as good? With the low aussie dollar it's looking like a pricy endeavor.

Has to be understandable and still the same role. @Mectus good to hear, if you can't make it there's another 3 days after this. @chickenjason, you need to shoose a role on dragon fly and bijar. If all other slots fill up your position will be up for grabs
