Assets are claimed on first squad basis. APC squad claims all APCs and SBoxes, Tank squad claims only the tank. Logistics squad claims logistical trucks. Troop transport trucks, BRDM2 support vehicles and jeeps are not claimable (Except tigrs on Sbeneh) Situation : The civil war has been ragin in Syria for years with neither FSA, backed by the USA, nor the Government forces, backed by Russia, being able to deal a decisive blow to one another. The Russian High Command came up with a plan to crush the rebel forces and to give a blow to the US garrison in the Middle East. Russian VDVs are going to attack several US garrisons in the Middle east simultaniously to ensure that the enemy can't reinforce our primary target. Meanwhile, Russian Special Forces are sent to hit US naval garrison in the city of Muttrah prior to the assault on highly strategical town of Sbeneh, under the control of FSA. If the attacks are successful, the US would have no choice but to withraw from the region and without their help, it is doubtful that the FSA would be able to withstand the combined Syrian and Russian forces. 1. Muttrah Assets : 4 x BRDM 2 support ( Deployment zone) 3 x Troop Transport Truck (Deployment zone) 1 x Logistics truck ( Deployment zone) 4 x Tigr jeep (Deployment zone) 4 x MTLB DshK (Deployment zone) 3 x Troop Transport Truck ( Fortress) 1 x Logistics Truck ( Fortress) 3 x Tigr jeep ( Fortress) 2 x MTLB Beast (Fortress) Russian Special forces are sent to Muttrah under the cover of night. Their main goal is to capture the American carrier Essex. Operative on board it will disable it's engines once the attack has begun to ensure that the enemy doesn't escape. The enemy is not aware of your presence in the region. Intel : A British navy cargo ship has been spotted in the region and it's more than likely that they will come to assist their american allies. Intel suggests that they have several attack helicopters and armored vehicles on board. Primary objectives : 1. Secure the castle so we can send in additional reinforcements 2. Clear the city of any opposition 3. Capture the US naval base and it's naval assets. 4. Assault and seize control of the US carrier Essex. 2. Sbeneh Assets : 2 x Tigr jeep ( Special Forces) 1 x T72 2 x BMP2 3 x BTR 60 4 x Troop Transport truck 4 x GAZ jeep 2 x Logistics truck ( FOB) 3 x Troop Transport Truck ( FOB) The Syrian armed forces will launch an attack an hour after the strike on Muttrah has commenced. Their main objective is to clear out the city of any FSA opposition and capture the military bases currently under FSA control. Russian 3rd support battalion has been assigned to provide long range artillery and mortar support. During the attack, Syrian Special forces squad is sent to locate and destroy enemy communication arrays in the city. Primary Objectives : 1. Secure and establish a forward operating base at the rebel held compound so we can bring in our support and supply vehicles. 2. Capture the city and neutralise any FSA opposition in the area 3. Capture the two military bases under FSA control Secondary Objectives : 1. Locate and destroy enemy radar stations and towers. 2. Locate and neutralise the enemy Commanding Officer. 3. Additional objectives will be added during the operation

Make sure that you Restart your game in order for the changes to take effect. 4. Check if the maps are properly installed by launching the game, going to COOP, create local and check if the maps called Muttrah Event & Sbeneh Outskirts Event are on the list. If it's there then you are set for the event. 5. Server password will be released around an hour prior to the event (1700 PRT) on VG site (www.veterans-gaming.com) and on TS at 5.9.23.136. Additional info / rules / reminder : 1. No flag hopping allowed! Follow the cap order. Armor stick with INF. 2. On muttrah, APC crew using the 30mm MTLBs, must request crewman kits from the repair station before being allowed to use the vehicle. 3. Spec Ops squad claims the tigrs and engineer kit on Sbeneh and are the only ones allowed to ignore the cap order in order to locate the radar stations. Breacher kits are disabled during the event. 4. On Sbeneh, the radar stations are only allowed to be blown up by the engineer in Spec Ops squad. If you happen to find one, let them know and move on or secure the area, but DO NOT blow it up using grenades, vehicles etc. 5. Radar Stations :

    As mentioned in the information part, you can not pre-claim assets. Whoever makes the squad first, gets the asset. Operators are the grunts in the SF, following squad lead orders. It's up to the SQL to decide which kit the operators have. (Basically you can figure out whichever kits you want to have, doesn't really matter. Just make sure you bring enough explosives.) @ranger_12 You can only have 5 people in the squad. The medic is also the 2IC in case you happen to lose connection during the fight.

    COOP Campaign Battle VI 05.05.2018 1700 PRT Map Download : CLICK HERE !!! Password : sauce MEC HQ has decided that it is time to reclaim the land taken by the Israelies so many years ago. No doupt the enemy will put up a hell of a fight, so make sure to ready your kumbulas and bring an extra bag to store the salt. MEC assets : 1 x BMP3 2 x BMP2M 2 x T-62 ( 7,5 min delay) 2 x Logistics truck 4 x Technical 4 x BRDM2 support 4 x Support Truck Enemy is well dug in and prepeared. Expect ambushes inside the city. Due to lack of naval knowledge, our vehicles are unable to navigate in the water. The two bridges, gaz station and the hills on the west are filled with mines and therefore off limits. Flag Capture order is shown on the map. MEC main base is uncappable. Expect enemy reinforcements from major routes.

This will also act as a feedback / suggestion / salt hub where you can discuss tactics, research, blame the commander etc. etc. etc. @=VG= keed is welcome to edit the main post with information he wishes to be broadcasted at the top. (Don't delete the campaign map that will be at the bottom). Other moderators, please do not touch the main post without asking me first. At the end of each cycle, the campaign map will be updated. The map won't show any troops, but only which faction controls which sector. if HCO wishes, he can take ScreenShots of the warroom, or release the link. The room is locked and can only be edited by gamemaster. Also, at the end of each cycle, this topic will be cleared of outdated comments such as old research suggestions, battleplans etc. Feel free to share your battleplans or whatever here or on battle specific posts, as two of the factions are fully controlled by AI and the third one is controlled by a person who doesn't even know about this website. Mechanized and Motorized Assets: Unlocked: Jeep+APCs (unarmed) Mounted Weapons Current Research Focus: Like I said in the post after the battle, I will prioritize INF equipment over new vehicles. Right now we have a good base with armed Techies and Boragh APC as they serve as fast trans and are good for long range defensive positions on open terrain. They are both also capable of penetrating some IFVs like BMP1 and the wheeled autocannon APC the Red Dragons field. Fixed and rotary wings are planned but since it's high risk/low reward operation they are on hold until our budget increases. For a cost effective trade vs vehicles we have to use our RPG7 as much as possible. This will be put into a specific doctrine called "Rolling Trench Warfare". (More on that later.)

    Cycle X (07.04.18 - 14.04.18) Asia : After months of bloody battles, Red Dragons and MEC have agreed to a immediate cease fire due to increasing threath approaching from the west. Due to recent events, Red Dragons have reluctantly agreed to compensate some of the losses suffered by the MEC, returning them the sector they lost in one of the recent battles with the addition of 8 VN-3s, 2 WZ-551 23mm APCs, 1 type 86 IFV & a chinese inf heavy anti tank launcher. There are rumors that talks between Russia and MEC are also underway to meet a similar agreement. Sources say that Russian Armed Forces have proposed the MEC to unite their forces to fight against the enemy approaching from Europe. Europe: Eurocorps is on a verge of collapse as the NORAD forces continue to push onwards. British isles, France and Holland have already fallen and there are reports of NORAD units crossing the border to Germany. NORAD forces have also managed to crush the massive Russian army in scandinavia and are now pushing forwards to east. So far the combined Russian / Eurocorps force has had no success in defeating this adversary.

If they are then you are set for the event. Server will be opened around an hour or two prior to the start for some "quality" warmup. Once the timer reaches 0, we'll launch the briefing round where the CO can assign personnel and squads as he sees fit. During briefing round DO NOT use any of the vehicles, do not teamkill, do not be abusive. Just sit and wait, if you are not a squad lead, go take a piss or something, just don't mess around. I'm not going to warn anymore during the briefing rounds. If you are being a dick you will get removed. Between the battles we will have a 5 - 10 minute bio break round during which CO can assign the squads for the next round. Again, same rules apply as mentioned above. Additional rules concerning the maps will be given to the CO prior to the briefing rounds.

    Added map information. On each map you'll have around 5 - 10 minutes to prepeare your defenses. During that time, each of the flags you control will have a rally point which will disappear once the enemy starts their assault. Main bases have permanent spawn points. On the first map, all flags are cappable at the same time and the enemy will try to sneak by your defenses, so don't bother using "hiding in a building to block cap tactics". Losing a flag with the star on it = enemy wins. On second map, all flags are cappable, but the enemy will attack them in an order marked on the map. They will not attempt to capture all the flags, but will rather try to take one and then push onwards.

If they are then you are set for the event. Server will be opened roughly an hour prior to the event (1800 PRT) for some quality warmup on some of the best INF maps PR has to offer. Check TS and this post for password. Rules : 1. No camping on hills 2. Blue lines indicate a DoD which means no crossing it. 3. You may attack the flags that are neutral but you won't be able to capture them.You may not attack the flags owned by the enemy. 4. Yellow star indicates the main base. If you lose it, you lose the battle 5. All flags are cappable at the same time. Prolog After a unpredicted move by the Russians to declare war and launch two massive ground operations against our territory we are forced to extend our military activity north. Since most of our heavy infantry and mechanized companies are fighting successfully on the eastern front against the Red Dragons we only stationed a small holding force of light infantry in the attacked zones. Russians are fielding heavy armored tanks and IFVs. Our objective is to defend this territory at all costs and inflict maximum damage on the enemy equipment. We will use anti tank emplacements and AT riflemen to keep enemy armor away from our zones. To keep enemy artillery from destroying our I will assign a small sapper squad to search and destroy enemy mortar pits.
