@=VG= BLuDKLoT Alright - my plan of action will be to take the site offline to access the developer console, and from there I will attempt to apply a suggested fix from the IPS forums.  I really need to have my shit together, and ready to do some hard work and research.

For this reason, Imma get a little selfish with my time here, coming off a 6 week project that fried my brains, and gonna put this off until Mid-week, starting Tuesday or Wednesday (*approximately ... my body still dictates my schedule, I can say 'this day' but if I wake up fucked and in pain, it gets put off for another day).

When it happens, I'll of course post up that the site will be down for a few hours at the most.  Regardless of anything, the plan is to take the site offline, attempt the fix, put it back online, contact you and have you test the upload, and then either dance with joy, or I have to get even deeper and try yet another fix in another area.

I will let you know in a few days.

This does help me zero in directly to the issue, so was not wasted effort. Thank you for testing.  Knowing it's not only for mobile is quite helpful.

Roger that.  This means (most likely) a timeout of the operation, like it took too long to perform the upload.  This can be due to a slower connection on the phone (few bars when on 4G/5G) or bad WiFi connection -- but also may be site related to a portion that ensures a secure connection for an interaction (such as uploading), and the combination of these rules combined with a phone vs. computer connection could be to blame.

I've read many posts on this subject this morning from other users, we are not alone, and I think with a little time and tinkering, it can be resolved ... sorry it won't be an overnight thing, but this is now top on the list and I'll get it fixed asap.

As a temporary workaround, you can transfer the pic to your computer and upload from there, and I realize this should not be required... just a workaround.  If you DO try this, and you get the -200 error there, let me know of course.

@=VG= BLuDKLoT Okay - First thing is for me to identify if this is related to the IPS AdminCP settings, or settings outside the IPS suite that runs this website.

Please try once more to upload that same picture from your phone that got the Error -200  and let me know. PLEASE NOTE the Signal Strength of phone connection when attempting this for an edge case involving the time require for upload, and whether it's on WiFi or 4G (or 5G, w/e).

If it does work, then I found the issue and it is fixed - but I assume it will not work....

If it does NOT work, then I also found the issue - but it will take time to resolve since it will take some tinkering in an area I'm less knowledgeable or confident in and will need to be asking for help along the way at nearly every stage, waiting for replies on forums, that sort of thing. 

Either way, let me know so I can get started down the correct route.

Nah, I'll post on the IPS forums.  That was gonna be my first plan of action anyway, since we had tried everything that was possible (and thought it was fixed).

They'll be asking stuff like, did you do this or that, and I'll know what I did try so best I start the thread and keep up with replies myself.

Not sure that a plugin is necessary, uploading pics is a major IPS system, part of the entire system, and it's their responsibility to provide support and a resolution, not ours to find some paid (or free) module that works around a system that should work to begin with.

I'll get back to you.  Also, not sure if we'll get a reply before Monday, seems when we were working on site, their tech support did not respond on Saturdays/Sundays like a 5 day work week, just FYI

@=VG= BLuDKLoT Okay - I found the issue.  Was related to the "Today's Birthdays" block under the chatbox.  I have remove it and replaced it with the default large version, and will find out what went wrong with our custom compact version at a later time.  It's been working flawlessly for a few months, not sure what could be different except a member name/group popping up on the list that somehow threw a wrench in the custom logic for the compact display that was being used.

Everything is back to normal, and I can get back to the stuff I wanted/needed to do.  Welcome home! Hope you had a great time in Vegas!

Imma go smoke one

This appeared literally minutes ago, and I'm not even working on the website at present, was just posting in a topic, moved it to a correct forum area, then noticed something was wrong (mouse hover wasn't working, then I saw chatbox not loading but all blocks above it were loaded, so I took out the Chatbox block as a test)

Again, I'm on it, I'm on it.  Had fun things to do, now I get to have fun with this.  Weeeeeeee.  (Also< I didn't do it, not been doing any website work at all, just responding to posts like everyone else - but I will find out how it happened)

I am actively trying to resolve an issue with the home page right now.

And yes, the chatbox disappeared as I tried to see which block was having an issue.  When that happened, it did not resolve the error and I'm now getting to deal with this instead of all the fun stuff I had planned.

I'll get it fixed, you can bet on that.  It's just gonna be a different Saturday afternoon than I had planned.
