  2. Server is up for those that want to get the mods by joining. Don`t worry if you get kicked because you entered the wrong password. It is meant to be like that.

  4. Yep so is the vanilla stamina and there won`t be too much sway (no mods needed for sway or stamina). Check the mod list and be sure to have everything you need before the event!!!!!!

I could go on for 2 hours without too many mistakes. I wish they added the possibility to make bots fly at a certain altitude in the chopper when you tell them to without the need for scripts or other ai control mods. :((

Also add vehicles from the same mod (afghan looks or maybe Isis looks, still unclear, please post your favorite).
  12. Well jokes aside, but YES we need to promote missions outside VG, this is a must if we want to have more people join our servers. We need people here, we need to expand and we also need to have more friends than foes.! For these things there will be a set of rules that every mission maker has to respect and to follow. We can`t have chaos/anarchy and also we can`t force players to change mods as devs please. We must force mission makers to follow a certain set of preferences that players have ( no go for what you want ) go with what players might want to have (missions, mods, era, etc..) . I`ve seen admins/ mission makers/ devs trying to make missions that they wanted to play but not others... this is bad, very bad. Postponing is also bad, make sure your missions are tested, we can give access to testing, this shouldn`t be an issue. Also the time of the events might be an issue. From my experience I`ve seen that the best time to have an event is around 20:00 GMT or 21:00 and the day preferred by everyone is either Saturday or Friday. Most go to work after Sunday and they can`t stay up all night as most are from EU. There will be, and I am sure everyone will agree, a set of rules that will make everything tied up and force mission makers to make content for players and not think only about themselves. The devs here will have a discussion about this in the near future and this post is only a heads up. We are willing to cooperate and we want you, only if you are willing to cooperate with us!
  13. Bump! Shop for certain vehicles = DONE! Unit recruitment = DONE! Added Shooting Range. Switched long respawn MRAP to a oshkosh MATV. Added Project Opfor mod. (Adds proper units for map at only ~ 2 GB) Tweaks to Vcom AI (bots are too aggressive and OP) TBD AC 130 scream when using JTAC menu ( apparently can`t do it, messes up the JTAC script). It will be added when interacting with the HALO or spawning the AC130 if the mod will be added. Shop for certain weapons. An actual good garbage cleanup system.   14. Bump! Added settings for recoil, sway and fatigue. Made SIDE B version (changed S Airport near Loy Manara to the Airport N). Added ACE, VCOM AI mods. Removed No Sway/Stamina mods.   16. Hello gents! As some of you know I`ve been away, working. I would like to inform you that I am still working on ACE Insurgency which will now include Regular ACE with some stuff changed and tweaks for bots. Also some new mods ( arround 25 GB hopefully in total) Q&A: Will we finally have regular ace? Yes, it will be regular ace but some settings changed (mostly medical and other stuff that include fatigue and OFC the G forces when flying). Will we be able to call in an AC-130? Welll hopefully yes, I am still working on it. There will be a trial version for the mod itself. Check it here: CLICK ME! Can we have other stuff that runs 24/7? You already have! Antistasi, Vanilla insurgency, Mike Force. Well the Insurgency server can be used to run other mods and gamemodes but only at the players request ( preferably above 10 guys). I will still do dedicated day events, like Halloween, Christmas, New Year, IDK what else, hopefully I will have time to develop all of these. Some might be done. Can we have Opfor/ Indfor? Yes Opfor has been fixed and now Indfor is to come. Indfor will not be ANTISTASI! If you want antistasi please join the Antistasi server. I am willing to make a mission for takistan that revolves around talibans/ ISIS/ any kind of faction, but the mission will not be played on the INS- ACE server. Will we have restricted gear? Welll I was thinking of it, but for now, the answer is still NO for most of the guns! Will we have a vehicle/unit/weapon shop? Weapons shop? No! Maybe for some of them in the future. Units? Yes, but it will not be a shop, more like a recruitment thing. Vehicles? Yep shop but only for certain OP stuff. (planes, helicopters, tanks, APCS) Will the flag positions, aka towns to attack ,be the same as last time? I don`t know, maybe yes, maybe no. This is open for discussion. Do you still need help? Well I always did, but not too many were keen to help me. I would still love to have admins online from time to time. Or at least people to help me script. How do you see this project? Do you need help from others? I see it as a challenge, more or less. It is a challenge because I don`t have a lot of time to spare and I need people to work with. I need testers ( to test the map and give feedback), people that know scripting (arma coding) and editors ( guys that go into the editor and change stuff, like units/ how the main base looks, etc...) Will we see this happen sooner than next month? I hope It will be like that, but for now is TBA. Expect a beta next month but there is still a lot to be done before I can release it for public use.   17. No and yes. If needed you can use it to spot assets of the bot side (mortars/ tanks/apcs etc...) Inf markers are pretty weak and disappear after a while and this kind of makes the UAV shitty to use and boring. Even spotting the enemy assets is a bit weak as most experienced players already know when the enemy asset will respawn and be active. I know we are a coop community but most of the time experienced squad leaders will deny any command and therefore the commander will be useless (unless it is some kind of milsim group with an operator squad leader and operator members :)) ). But from time to time I guess it is cool to have commands even though I will totally avoid following the orders just because I`ve never seen someone competent enough to actually guide me right when I attack a flag ( and by guiding right I mean avoid bot swarms/ die going down that path). This not really up to the commander most of the time. Yes the commander might decide to take the logi and use it as he wants, yes he may ask another squad that uses it to drop some crates, but he has no right to take action and steal the logi/ crates from another squad. (think of the commander as another player that is no different from a squad leader or a normal berry). Yes and no. Yes encourage but also tell them how to use it properly to avoid friendly fire and NO if someone without experience as a commander just goes trigger happy and accepts an area attack without checking the map... well (just expect TKs). It is good to teach players first, before any tragedy happens. I prefer not to ask for area attacks unless I know who to ask, I prefer regulars as they, most of the time, know how to do it properly. Good and bad, mostly good. We are playing against bots, sooo dying is really a comfort here. If it was deployment, then yeah it will be really bad to be in the middle of everything. In coop the game really asks for a frontline commander as you can usually help others with the commander rally. In deployment everything should be well thought before acting (yes you can go in the middle of the firefight but never get surrounded by enemy, it will make things worse for your team as you can`t really command properly while dead :)))) ). None, you are nothing but a human being, not a god, nor a Veteran. You are just a player, don`t be a cougar and brave with anyone, they will not tolerate your attitude. You are there to play the game and help them. The commander role is more of a support role so I don`t really see the point of something like this being there all the time. I like it, it sounds good when the map is hard, but otherwise I believe that if the squad leaders are good, the commander role is pretty much useless.
