Thanx guys, I feel like all I do here is moan, lol When we have the game level set at VETERAN, does this change the level of AI skills - I only ask as it was like playing against Chuck Norris yesterday :) Reaper

I had 2 slight problems yesterday evening - not sure if they are actually problems with the set up or just my own issues, lol 1) When the enemy attack our base I cannot shoot back at them or risk being banned (server message) plus the rounds don't land for anti-teamkilling etc. 2) With only 2 or 3 guys on the server (Dev Build etc) having only pilots fly can limit gameplay. Thanx for reading and sorry to be a pain in the rear end....just trying to see the VG server back to its best :) Reaper

SavageCDN =VG= LAN_WROTE ... Latest dev update is client only (phew) *** Arma 3 server is now available to be managed through TCAdmin. *** GameService 35 port 2402 All TCA users should have access to this game service and can restart it if required. For other admins the in-game password is same as before For now it's running Xeno's Domination v2.99 although I'll need to make some changes to that mission to make it =VG= friendly. -added VAS ammo system -added AI suppression scripts Currently there is a limitation where we can only one run instance of the dedicated server.. hopefully this gets fixed soon. Also still no RCON or other remote management tools so kicks/bans will have to be done in-game. I am currently working on an admin slot system for the missions we run on the server which will allow admins to connect even if the server is full. The server is not working (10:15AM EST), I am running the correct version of the Dev Build but it just stays on the loading screen as you attempt to join (zero players in server and its status is - creating). Any help is appreciated to get the server back up and running :) Reaper

Savage - I asked Echo to switch the following params; Allow teleport to MHQ Time of day 08:00 (or whatever you feel is best) Allow Revive Enemy skills are set at NORMAL (but they feel like super AI, lol) Allow view distance to be changed Only Pilots can FLY This is what I can remember off the top of my head - many thanx!!! Played for 3-4 hours on the VG Domi server.....lots of fun with a good group of guys. Nice performance and only a slight stuttering issue now and again (not very often in fact). Echo was the 'Admin' and set the parameters for good team play!! If no VG member is online, how do I set parameters (or do I not, lol)? Reaper :0

PITN LAN_WROTE ... @Reaper, where you playing the latest version of Ins VG 04? I thought I fixed that in 04. But if I didn't I need to know. I was playing yesterday afternoon if that helps on the VG server with Pierovich :) I thought we were playing great until I realized I was GOD like, lol

instant LAN_WROTE ... 3: Think that depends on difficulty setting? Agree.....I think an admin has control of that or is that client side?

Hey guys, a couple of quick questions; 1) When I am playing in the Insurgency server I am invincible to enemy fire....hmmmm? 2) When playing in the Sandbox Server I cannot respawn with working ammo in my gear.......if I am wounded and get revived it has the same issue. I have all my gear but it acts like I have nothing....hmmm? 3) If these issues are fixable (I understand its just the Alpha etc) can the server settings be adjusted to NOT show enemy positions on the Intel Map.....just a request, if no then no problem :) Thanx for reading Reaper

KillAlot LAN_WROTE ... I was playing on the Arma3 private Acre server, for quite some time on my own, around 17:10 a guy named " REAPER " showed up, and just stood AFK in base.. I greeted him with a "hi" and he responded with a "hey". After another 5 minutes, the mission failed all of a sudden. I?ve never seen the " Mission Failed " screen on that server before, and since the " REAPER " guy wasnt on TeamSpeak, and now NOT responding in chat, i got scared he might be trying to make me reload the mission and i could be in risk of getting the "virus script".. I hung around on the mission failed screen and tried contacting a VG admin, since none was on TeamSpeak (again sadly) i just Disconnected the mission failed screen, after consulting other VG members, and left the server before any new mission reloaded. hey there, its me....REAPER, I am a member and it was me that was in the VG room with you this morning. Sorry I was not in TS but I was having trouble getting into the virtual ammo box etc, lol I only had about 20 mins gaming time so I could not stay after that. Didn't mean to scare you but I don't have a virus and am not a hacker :) Thanx savage...I have been away for a while but i'm back and ready to get killed all over the fine Island of Stratis ;)

Help the noobs, help the noobs, lol.....but seriously, if I can lock in a time or day when one of you guys can help me out with my ACE/ACRE issues I would be most obliged.

Sounds like a very reasonable request to move it back a week.....I might even be able to play now ;) I still cannot figure out why my ACRE will not function. I am running TS3 as Admin I think I set it up and ace clippi all correct etc I hear Radio Clicks and my characters mouth moves when I hit Caps Lock Problem is, my team cannot hear a word I say, just empty space between radio clicks....grrrrr Make sure your TS3 push-to-talk key is different than your ACRE push to talk key (capslock), and also disable the in-game push-to-talk key under your keyboard controls. If that doesn't fix it we'll get you sorted out. I have the RIGHT ALT key assigned as my TS3 Push to talk key. I disabled the in game push to talk and VON talk key. I adjusted the RADIO in game slider to zero to avoid AI Radio messages, good or bad, lol I am launching ArmA via Armarize launcher.....is that OK?

Most appreciated! Trying not to hijack the thread here, lol. I am hoping that myself and a friend of mine (also a member here) 'Pierovich' will be able to participate. The mission looks great and I have to say that I am very impressed with the time you have put in so far setting the scene and creating this event!! In the same breathe......be advised that we are pretty new to ArmA and even newer to ACE and ACRE, it could make for some fun gaming ;) Regards,

I would like to play in this mission if positions are still available. I have installed all the required MODS (plus an optional one), having some slight issues with ACRE......how do I know if its working, its difficult to test alone, lol Is there a server running that I can 'test' to see if I am up and running correctly? Thanx for any feedback - also, if this is just a clan event, no problem....I can wait for a public event :) Regards
