I love getting last kill! 

You guys wann hear a story? Yesterday suddenly my Heater/Gas went down and the whole House is cold. When i woke up in the morning the room was so cold that you can call me female now.  I went to the Bathroom to clean my face, DANG no Water, the waterpipes are frozen, we had some like minus 15° this night and without the warm of my heater all was to cold. The whole Day i tryied to fix the Problem but nothing worked so far. I am praying, crying, swearing, nothing helps. Now i set up a few Fan heater, this Winter is not over yet. Good Lord let t be Spring soon and please don't let my waterpipes burst. 

Most of you might not know me too well, or why I act like a dick/ talk too much/ get angry and pissed at some, too fast. Well now my life is going through shit again! My parents both have Covid and I am the next in line... Been through shit so much this past week and now I simply can`t think straight. My mind is clouded again and I need a big F..ing DRINK... one that would at least make me go away from this stupid world I live in. 

Long story short, I am so pissed because no matter what I do, I break things... things like my relations with friends. I am such a jerk in real life and I can`t keep my mouth shut. I feel so much anger almost everyday, just by hearing some stupid shithead talk about politics/ themselves or even worst (I can`t tolerate this) them trying to impose their point of view on something that I already posed no interest in... F..ck U ( I already said I don`t want a fucking 10/10 on my piece of shitty exam paper).

Back to my head issues: trauma, trauma, drama, trauma. Short: couple of years ago fell on my head, still have ears ringing sometimes ( 5m ain`t a small depth). Before that, I used to go out on my bicycle almost every day till an idiot friend put some soda on my brakes and it became sticky... Engaged the brake flipped over and broke some fingers.. and had a small head injury ( the doctor said it`s ok to have ears ringing for 2 weeks so yeah :-]  ). Drama cus I used to be the only fat-ish kid in the class for almost 7 years. So yeah 6 of them were just jokes about how I looked like... Still hate `em and feel like I want to rip the guts out of every one of those that laughed at me. And yes I did try to end it... No success though :)) Better luck next time, right?!

Anyway too much shit on my mind. I don`t want to live like this, but I`ll keep my head up just for a bit, to see how this shit plays!

Last fall, I bought a few more PC monitor arms to free up desk space...  I have a transforming setup now, lol.

Made this GIF to show the different ways I can set this thing up so I can, for example, play VR without punching a hole in my main monitor or knocking over my drink. 

The laptop is connected to the smallest monitor on the right, the other two are connected to my PC.  I have to hide a lot of spaghetti behind the desk, but  all the cables are well managed.

DIY Wireless TrackClip Pro
Haven't had time to spend on this project for awhile....  Been trying to find batteries that will power these 3 LED's, and previous tests required at least 4x 1.5V AAA Batteries which is way too large for a battery pack that will sit velcro'd to my headphones.

I just found some rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries with 3.7 Volts each in a "AAA" form-factor.  These things are great!  I tried running a single battery, but the LED's didn't illuminate in any noticeable way so I had to wire a second battery in serial, and they light up just fine.  They are 350mAh each, which is less than half the capacity of a standard rechargeable Li-ion AAA battery, but the trade-off for a higher voltage in such a small size is exactly what I need for this project.

I left this thing plugged in overnight and it was off in the morning, I guess I'll time it to see how long it lasts.  Next step will be to rig a recharging circuit with a micro-A USB female plug-in for easy re-charging, and then cram it all in a small black box with a velcro strap to easily attach to my headset.  To start, I'm not going to cut the TrackClip Pro wire, and I'll leave the female USB connector shown below on the battery pack.  I may shorten the TrackClip wire near the end of this project, at least to remove the heavy USB pass-through dongle hanging off it.

We'll see where this goes, I've never done anything like this before so it's a small challenge.

Working on a DIY project right now between other things; "wireless TrackIR TrackClip Pro"

I have an old TrackClip Pro with several broken plastic pieces, so I'm using it for all sorts of testing and feasibility checks before cutting up my new working TrackClip Pro.  I want to use a small modern Lithium Ion battery and have the ability to charge it through USB micro-A connection, with a charging circuit, and a power on/off switch, but a few of the batteries I've tested so far have me scratching my head.

If this simple 3x LED device normally operates on a USB 5V 1A connection, I really only need to replicate that.  But I've already had little success with the batteries I have around my house.  I may have to purchase a battery specifically for the project, as well as the charging circuit.  It all needs to be very small and lightweight.

I've read several DIY forums where people already did this exact thing, so I have plenty of ideas for products and procedures.  I'm very patient and I'd rather spend a few extra dollars if it can be a little more sturdy or look a little better, so time will tell how this turns out.  Will take pictures once there's something worth taking a picture of.

So, I was reading some forum on a totally different topic, one guy suggested this CompactGUI as a tool for the Windows 10 "Compact" function.  It seems this is no new feature, but the version in Win10 is much more powerful and more optimized.

TLDNR; You can take a program, for example my ARK installation folder (>100GB) and compress the contents with little to no performance loss when running the application.  Doesn't turn it into a ZIP or RAR achive, either - we'd not notice the change as users.  It is a disk space saver, and it's very good at it.  According to the reports, my ARK could potentially turn into a ~50GB folder instead of twice that!!

Happy 8th Birthday!

I had myself done with last semester exams 2 days ago, now i've got a 1,5 month day off from campus/uni. At this one, i have reached in some point that i might be needing a 'job' to live my life out there. But, honestly.. never actually thinked about that till now (there is a lot of things, but still not sure which one is suitable at least)

I was thinking about making something, related to PR while at day off like this (such as faction), but it will took a long time, so i had to save ones that important for progressing through to make it happen.

I'm probably going to start learn things that needed soon (modelling, mapping etc.), so i can experience working on something that 'real heavy' (PR Forums - Modelling/mapping isn't really that easy as it looks), and so my willing to do and learn on this kind of work... (currently looking at softwares, such as 3DS Max, BF2Editor etc.)

Btw, the admin in PR isn't really my main job (just a side one, besides of campus student), not really taking that seriously at the moment, mostly busy everyday, except in Weekends. But, i'll be there when needed (sometimes hanging around TS helps me, if problems happen in-game, so i can help out solving them)

Some free time that I can grasp doing what I love, can't beat a bit of gaming there and then.

I am unable to properly function, so I'm copying a note I sent to a few of my oldest friends here at VG:
I can't login, I can't think. I can't even process life right now.  I've been in a stunned shock since Sunday (Dec 31st) evening.  In moments of clarity, I am reaching out to those I can think of - I consider many of you real friends, and I just want you all to know what has happened and why I'll be absent.

On New Years Eve morning, my brother took his life.  We were extremely close our entire lives almost like twins, but he had cut off contact with us all and moved far away for over a year.  He had been struggling with mental health issues including audible hallucinations (hearing voices) that berated him and tortured him "verbally", as well as addiction problems, and we all have to just accept that he felt there was no other way to stop it all and escape.  He was a talented musician and a knowledgeable composer.  If any of you have watched some of my old gaming videos on YouTube, you've heard my brother's music in the background.

He will be cremated and released to us around the 12th, and I will be spreading his ashes at Wahclella Falls near or around then, presuming it is accessible this time of year, and we will hold a private Celebration of Life rememberance in our home somewhere around the 17th.

I may not come around for the next couple weeks, or until these matters have concluded, as I do not feel sociable at this time.  Certain individuals can reach me when I am offline if there is a technical emergency, so contact =VG= m823us if there is a matter that requires my attention, and I will resolve it if/when I am able, and if not, it will go on the top of the "to do" list for when I am feeling better.  I've already noted that I will be helping Oniblood work with the ARK Survival server as he expressed interest in that, and those who knew I was developing weekly PR event "team workshops" with custom maps should know I will continue with that project before too long.

I feel like I'm walking around in a daze, like a bad dream, and my time is filled with moments of painfully deafening silence and extreme grief, and the rest of it spent with family and friends, as people I've not talked to in years come over to express condolences.  Hearing others talk about this all sounds like I'm listening to a commentary of my own life and it is too surreal to tolerate, so much so that my family now hushes up if I'm walking by when re-telling someone who has not yet heard, out of respect for my feelings.

I will eventually return because hanging out with friends online will help me to move forward and be strong, but I am having a hard time using the phone at this time and it's most comfortable for me to text for now - messages through this website or facebook are just fine if friends need to contact me.

Howdy, General. How are you doing? All is fine over here. Just can't catch a break to get some gaming on. Hopefully this Xmas will open up a few opportunities. Happy Thanks Giving!!

So I get to go back into Physical Therapy for my left arm.  PT is hell, better described as Pain & Torture - but if I don't do it, I'll lose the ability to use my left arm.  Basically, I can't bend it from the elbow because something going to my shoulder is too short and my elbow feels like it's burst into flames while being frozen with ice during an electrocution.  Yea, it sucks.

I've defiantly been playing Falcon BMS a few times in the past week or two, and after an afternoon or evening session of several flights, I become unable to use my left arm at all and that hot/cold/shock sensation persists for hours, at a lower level than when I yank it, but still nagging at me.  I have to admit my limitations some times, and though I love my BMS, I have to be honest and report that I'm not the most consistent leader for that server.  I wish I could consistently play each day, and help grow our BMS crowd, but some days I can only sit and rest and watch crap on YouTube or play something that uses Voice Controls or my Xbone controller to where I can casually play while half lying down.

People must wonder where I "go" when I disappear for days on end, and I just want to say I am here, just not able to do everything I want when I want to.  I'm glad my friends here understand and are patient with me when I need to take frequent breaks.  Thanks guys, see you when I can!

So, it's been a crappy week for me.  Busy with projects at home, and on Monday, I threw out my right shoulder (I'm right handed) and barely finished my work tasks.  On top of that, I just launched a new server for my favorite game, Falcon BMS, and I've been unable to fly in it due to the whole "so much pain I want to vomit" issue.  Been so bored between the hot tub, ice packs, and frequent naps that I made a voice control setup for Steel Ocean so I can play a game using my voice (and a dual-axis controller in my left hand for aim/look).  Sleep schedule off, I tested it successfully last night around 2am, and it works.

I have to take frequent breaks, but I'll be around here and there to game with you guys.

Windows 10 is a marketing scheme!  DirectX 12 could have been a module for the Windows 7 operating system - easily.  The company is in the business of selling operating systems, and not content to build on past successes they will constantly redesign what does not need to be redesigned.  What is worse is that it is ON PURPOSE!  Microsoft purposefully went backwards with certain functions to make sure they do not function as well as in Windows 7, for which support & updates will soon be discontinued, so that people will buy Windows 11 one day and see it as an improvement over Windows 10.  They are doing this to ensure sales when in the past their customers would not upgrade to the latest product due to familiarity or proven functionality.

We had mice - so someone built a mouse trap and sold it to us.  It worked and everyone bought them all up.  But then Mr. Mousetrap wanted more money so they made a new one that doesn't work as well, but they get to sell it to us once again.  We don't buy it cuz it's crap, so they stop selling the first mouse trap to force one product.  Now we're stuck with a crap mouse trap and a company that won't sell us the good one anymore.  All those people defending them saying "it's better than nothing!" or "remember when we had mice everywhere?" can suck a spotted dick.
Give me back my good mouse traps!
