  1. Yes. The faster and more powerful the GPU, the faster the render output results.
  2. I have a several options for running such software. The Minimum specs for the vast majority of desktops and laptops I use for 3D Design and Game Dev software are as follows: OS: 64-bit processor and operating system Processor: Intel® Core™ i5 / AMD Ryzen™ 3 Memory: 8 GB RAM Graphics: Intel® UHD Graphics 630 / NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 660 2GB / AMD Radeon™ HD 7850 2GB Storage: 500 GB available space Additional Notes: Integrated GPUs on Laptops. This config successfully runs files and renders from Blender, Sketchup, Unity3D, Daz Studio, 3Ds Max, Maya, Cinema4D, Lightwave, Hexagon, zBrush, Sculptris, Fusion 360, Unreal, iClone and several others. So long as you do not go overboard with the polygon count or render settings.

Always good to keep an open mind...
  4. All the comments and posts here distill and sum up the reasons why this approach to gaming is a great way to enhance the state of well being for many of us. Especially in this trying time. Well done to all the contributors. Thank you for taking the time to share.
  5. Great stuff. Customisation. Shows that there there is a support and understanding of the need for individual expression in the community. I am some how missing the chat window. Is it still available?
  6. Well done, Chaps They are exceptional in their outlook and community spirit. Above and beyond. Nicely Done, Gentlemen.
  7. Have you had a look at AWS Cloud Computing Careers? https://aws.amazon.com/education/awseducate/students/ https://www.wsj.com/articles/amazon-wants-to-train-29-million-people-to-work-in-the-cloud-11607621622?reflink=desktopwebshare_twitter
  8. Pivotal Interpretation by the great Luther Vandeross... An Anthem for all Generations
  9. Regardless of all the changes and updated, I think it is still admirable that there are still folks devoted to making this an exceptional gaming experience for both New and Existing Players.. Well done to all the Devs, testers, Cartographers and 3D Designers.
  10. Engagement with New Players and those keen to be part of exceptional Team play experiences has always been the bedrock of what has made this Community the Best of the Best. Sometimes however this needs to be reitierated and addressed. Fundamentals need to be acknowledged and reaffirmed. I was just about to give up on playing this game when several other likeminded team enthusiasts and I came across this Unique Command Centre That Bludklot built!!! That was way back in 2010... Long may it continue. Big thanks to all the selfless VG Team Members and Friends that keep this dream alive and uphold the creed that is still a beacon to all other gamers and clans out there.
  11. Of course, the US is Superior in all things Military. No contest on any level. Or any combat arena/scenario/theatre for that matter. Just by the simple fact that you prepare and plan in advance. As well as come with your "A" game every time. Long may you guys continue to lead the way.
  12. Military teams from the United States and Britain have gone head to head for the first time in a transatlantic gaming competition. The Call of Duty Endowment Bowl took place on Friday, to raise money for veterans' charities. Gaming, or e-sports, is already a multi-billion dollar industry attracting huge audiences. It's also increasingly being used by the military to engage younger audiences. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/technology-55287915
  13. Real-life takes precedence over all things. Stay safe and Be well. See you on your return.
  14. Greetings, Matey. Great to see you are back. Real life always takes precedence. One has to do what one has to do. This year has been a journey of discovery and a steep learning curve for many of us. But we soldier on... Onwards and Upwards!!
  15. Greetings and welcome back. It is still the best gaming experience, of my entire foray into community gaming, of any kind. The fact that so many return to participate and fellowship is a testament to the welcoming diverse membership and dynamic leadership. Community Spirit is in abundance in all that happens here.
  16. Well done, Everyone. Remembrance of those that are no longer with us is a great attribute that is one of the endearing qualities of this august community. I salute you all!! Please let H8CrazyVet67's family be comforted in the fact that he will not be forgotten and is still fondly remembered by many across the world.
  17. A notable and continuing issue in gaming. I think the only thing these kinds of players respect is when the action they take messes with their game time. So a short term ban / time out is worth it as they will weigh their actions against the fact that if they persist and kill a friendly, instead of having to spend the extra few seconds it would have taken to ID their target they will have to sit out the whole day, week, month on the sidelines depending on the severity of the infraction. Then by obvious process of elimination, those that will adhere to the discipline required to play will return contrite, while the less worthy will move on.
  18. Well done on a brilliant piece of planning and entertainment.
  19. Well done once again on another ground breaking endeavour and player experience!!
  20. Have they given back the control of the explosive pack to the engineer class? I really missed the strategic use of that kit.
  21. Belated welcome best wishes. I hope you are enjoying the community spirit and standing tall with the team.
