Falcon BMS Server Update: New Minimum Connection Bandwidth Requirement - Increased to 2048   12/10/2017

As of December 10th 2017, the Required Minimum Connection Bandwidth for all clients is now forced to 2048.  In addition, the former config entry denying potential P2P connection types has been removed.  Both of these changes are due to reports of increased server and client multiplayer stability, and we are hoping to see the same improvements here as well.  Please report anything unusual while playing in the coming week so we can asses the benefits of this change.  Thank you!

I could not imagine a better use for a Glock

...and with only about 40 parts, the Glock is extremely easy to completely disassemble for cleaning, too! ;)

There are two types of people in this world:

1. The people who own Glock(s) and understand why it's the most popular semi-automatic pistol in the world.

2. The people who are retarded.

And no, I don't consider liberal dumbasses as human beings.

Really? I’ve always been a big fan of Sig Sauer and CZ pistols. Never cared much for the Glock. Your opinions about these guns?

Also - being liberal has nothing to do with NOT loving guns.

I guess I can be considered a liberal (considering my political views) and I still love guns and believe people, responsible people, have the right to own them.

I just really support laws that ensure crazy people can’t legally buy guns. If that’s a sin I’ll gladly go to hell for it.

Where I live any citizen and even non-citizens can legally own a gun. Just not convicts, crazy people and you can definitely not buy a gun without being extremely vetted. That makes sense to me.

Hope that helps.

Well..... it was meant to be taken as a joke but if you want my honest answer, here we go:

1. I like both Sig Sauer/CZ design and have plans to own both P226 (West German imports) and CZ-75 (SP-01 maybe?) sometime in near future.

With that said, I don't plan to carry them if I need to because they are not only heavy/big, but also antiquated because there is no "practical" advantage the DA/SA has over striker-fired design. I am aware of their striker-fired designs like P-10C and P320 but neither one has the track record that Glock's been building up for last few decades so can't really tell if they are "Glock-killer" like they claim to be.

2. I am perfectly fine with people who doesn't like Glock because they either don't grip well in their hands or looks unpleasing in their eyes.

However, I have a problem with people who simply talks shit about Glock because they are either 1) emotional attached to the pistol design they own due to their monetary investment OR 2) incapable of accepting the fact that Glock is one of the best pistol that the average joe can use because they are reasonably priced, reasonably accurate, and reasonably reliable gun.

3. When I say "liberal dumbasses," I mean the people who will call others Nazis only because they have a different point of view (political/economical/historical/and so forth) and have no hesitation to smash their heads with a bike lock while wearing black hoodie and face mask because it is their "duty" to fight facism. If you don't know the group I'm talking about, I would like to know where you live because that's a rock that is worth living under.

If you understand the point why citizens should be able to own a firearm AND also have a somewhat liberal mindset, then you are unfortunately one of the minorities around where I live. I don't think you live in the U.S so it may sound confusing why it is very uncommon to be progressive and likes owning a gun in the U.S, but around here beling "liberal" means that you're fully supporting government's confiscation of firearms because they are deemed "too dangerous" to citizens.

I may have went way too political, but there is nothing wrong with having a civil discussion about a different point of view, so feel free to share your mind about the recent political events, a philosophy regarding self-preservation/2nd amendment, and "reasonable" gun control laws.

I personally recon why people like the glock and I agree with them but I prefer M1911, for me its a perfect balance between accuracy and damage (in videogames cuz sadly its not easy to put a hand on a real gun in my country)

I personnaly on 2 Glocks and an assortment of other pistols and having trained in both the law enforcement capacity and in a military practice with and without Arsenal weapons attached. As people have  mentioned before the glock is a very inexpensive, accurate pistol that is low on maintenance and easy to hide. You need no extra tools to clear 80% of your problems and if there is an issue, you should not deal with it in the field. One of the downsides, and Glock knows this is the sights. They suck. Most people rip them off and put on some kind of night sight or titanium sight. In the US, since SIG won the DOJ,DoD bid for secondary arms contract, there will be an increase if Glocks in the market, meaning lower prices and increased availability.

With this being said there are other reputable brands out there that I would use as a secondary backup to carry, for instance when I go running I carry my S&W revolver because I can fire that in any position and do not need the area my Glock does to "slide fire". At work, I can no longer carry on site due to company policy so I park my car on the street and have my duty pistol inside my car. One of the brands I do not stand by is Remington, I have had bad luck with them and there has been a lot of recalls due to accidental discharge but that's my personal preferences. Some people swear by them and they do not like my blocky guns.

Long story short, enjoy what you enjoy. Some people are able to carry a 1911 and hide it on their frame and enjoy the weight. I was working for an agency where there were no regulations and this guy carried and qualified with a .357 magnum. This worked for him and he liked it. Don't go smaller than a 9mm though.

Remember to be open to what other people have for thoughts,  and make sure you feel like you can talk about your opinions and be respected still at the end of the day. We will all have differences.

Well I am obviously not interested into making this some political thread but I guess I consider myself a liberal because I believe in individual freedoms. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberalism

Moreover they (my views) do include the right to own guns, in fact I am a big supporter of (sane) people owning guns, but they do NOT include rights for anybody and everybody - especially mentally unstable people or criminals - to legally own or be able to buy guns. I believe owning guns are a fundamental right but with like with all rights there also is duty meaning that ONLY people who pass a vetting process can own a gun. Kinda like a drivers license or in a bigger sense having a license to practice law or medicine.

I live in Czechia and basically everyone has the right to own a gun. The process to get and own one isn't really that insane. If you are a citizen you go to the police and apply, they will ask you to proof that you are sane and have no criminal convictions. You take a bunch of shooting lessons and after that you have to stick to the law. Those laws include that you cannot drink and carry a gun, you have to get regular training and that's about it. More details here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_laws_in_the_Czech_Republic

A nice side-effect of this gun-culture is that there are very little issues with guns. Gun-murder is rare and there are no such things as mass-shootings. It's really a cultural thing. I take my dogs for a walk. Meet up with a few friends. We let our dogs play and then decide to go for a beer. Two of them carry guns. They simply say 'let me put my gun home first and I will see you in twenty minutes'. It makes sense to me.

But those are my personal views. We can argue about them some other time. Or now. I don't really mind.

Then when it comes to guns. I highly recommend the CZ75 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CZ_75) it's an amazing piece of work. Sure like the SIG Sauer it's pretty heavy but it aims and shoots perfectly.

Let's talk more guns!

This bugs me. But actually why not. We're more than just a gaming community. So I hope I can say this. (if not just delete this)

Extremists of any kind are always insane idiots. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horseshoe_theory

It doesn't really matter if you're a Nazi, simply racist, 'Antifa', KKK, Jihadist or anything else extreme. You're an extremist idiot and closer to what you're pretending to be against than you realize.  No joke. Nazi's and Antifa have more in common than they realize and even funnier KKK and Jihadists have more in common than they realize.

I'm sure that in the US there's a nice slant to call some 'left-leaning' people liberals. But this isn't true - the US was founded on the most liberal of ideologies of that time. In fact the birthplace of liberalism (France) gave you the statue of liberty for that very same reason. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_liberalism Per definition the US was founded on Liberal ideology. So factually there's not an argument about liberalism but between traditional (conservative) liberalism (2nd Amd) and progressive liberalism (perhaps we should think about changing a few things, because times have changed). Everything else is extremist either on the left or right or how you want to call it.

Calling the so-called 'leftist' extremist and anarchistic idiots like Antifa 'liberals' is like calling the KKK 'Christians' or ISIS 'Muslims'. It's simply not correct and offensive to people that do adhere to the true meaning of that ideology or religion.  So pardon my honesty and openness but as a person who believes in individual freedom and according to the great thinkers of yore I think that's simply wrong. I have deep respect for American and European liberals and conservatives but the whole thing goes down the toilet when we start calling each other terrorists just because we may disagree on one or more points. Let's call the Nazi's, Antifa, Jihadi's for what they are. Extremists/Terrorists.

Sorry but I had to say this.

Yep. Some fictional guy called James Bond seemed to like the Walther. Also the Luger is a piece of work like never seen before. Much like the StG 44 (which the Russians later 'developed' into the AK47 and later Israel and South-Afrika developed into different but similar rifles) it was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAy ahead of it's time.

I must say I have never fired the StG 44. But the Galil was pretty solid.

Both videos posted showcase why guns do not belong in civilian hands..

If someone was drink driving or speeding, most people would frown upon it because its dangerous and irresponsible. Here we have someone who has a device designed for killing (because thats exactly what a gun is for) and is messing about with zero regard for safety. And that passes as cool. Anyone who disagrees is a lunatic leftie.

Absolutely bonkers.
