The inf layer comabtarea will be reduced to a smaller area later. I will not use heavy assets, more light apc's.

I already have a clone of the boragh, - 2seater -  no ballast infantry -, i'm so proud (cough - cough) worked directly after first try :Alex_01:and that years i didn't spent any time on vehicle tweaking.

I don't know how to this stuff guys. but all i can say is the map was amazing and verry'' action'' one ... i liked the machine guns on the building and antitanks assets everywhere like a real threat. bots are verry agressive and accured and i like that .... keep up the good work guys. we supporting you.

Boragh APC's... something more like BMP-1/Type 86G + ZSL-92A MG Turret w/h DsHK HMG, must be hard to imagine/clone it :P

There was one back in the old updates.. ( v1.3.5 ), but never really seen the model in-game. Is it removed from the game for some reason? :(

This asset from my point of view, can be used for Syrian Rebels ( not just MECs in-game ), would be cool tho

Of course, if it's not in-game anymore.. will be miss it

Tbh. i never saw it in a Deployment round, only on local.

I will use it for more insurgent factions because other vehicles of that class would be to much for coop-ins gameplay.

A retexture with a little bit more rusty and some arabic graffity tags so it looks more, how shall i say ???, CAPTURED and not like an vehicle of an conventional force.

The Bleeeeuuurrrgghh! (also known as boragh) should only be on Muttrah and Jabal deployment atm ( and Melon's test event). Havent seen it being used on any other maps.

From personal experience, it has to be the most fun vehicle MEC has ever had. Good for dominating INF hiding behind cover with it's amazing splash damage (Even for 50.cal) and acts quite good against hueys that are foolish enough to enter it's protective zone.

10/10 it has made muttrah great again

Hello again my loyal troops ... ok jokes beside.

Longtime no update but i was still working on gaza. I was also busy with some stuff that get added later (goodies) and also helped out some Reality Devs.

Next patch, i know, will improve the botside and also improves later the coop insurgency gamemode. I promised not to leak informations but it's nice.

About Gaza:

I made a new GPO layout for the 128 and 64 layer, edited some StrategicAreas and made them takeable for both teams.

The 16 and 32 layer got  removed. I will make new ones with an Opfor insurgency - Blufor base defense scenario. Blufor get  a capturable base in the middle of the city.

I also added an ammocache_ai to the ammocache and hope that the spawn behaviour get improved. My tests discovered that the objects.ai temperature increase the StrategicAreas temperature so i get hopefully the bots faster in the spawned ammocache SA location.

I made a better bipod and tow layout for the layers. Bipods are still good but they are now on lower positions (not all) so they cant engage the humanplayers from far far away. Added also increased spawntimes and delayed spawns at roundstart.

Server is updated and run the latest version but before you download anything remove all gaza_insurgency testmaps from the levelsfolder.

I found 2 more bugs that could crash a server so the old versions aren't good.

Yaay new updates,

 

I wonder what you got to fix along with ze Devs. I hope it is, that all the bots spawn only on main as it would become more of a challenge.

A suggestion would be adding other factions. I was thinking about the us faction that has no scopes (used on deployment bamyan ins) so that picking bots far far away will become harder and the aim of moving from cover to cover becomes a reality.  

Add the Dutchies. I cant wait for the coms spam because the voiceovers are so bad ROGER.

Let the boats be auto destroyed so they don’t stay at 1 point forever xD. (jabal has this)

 

Note about the last version.

Some caches had bots spawn on/around them while others kept undefended for extended periods of time (20 min). Had a cache where the bots literally flooded out and caches where its nearly impossible to attack because they kept spawning.

I hope the AT guns get fixed as rumoured as they could become a great addition to the battlefield.

The bots where a bit Noscoping. You couldn’t even peek to a bot 200 m away without getting headshot. While I find that rather interesting challenge it was a huge complain from the people I played it with as it was unrealistic so maybe you can look into this for future fixes.

And again the assets. Because the noscoping bots the use of the assets became a must to even get close to the cache. At a certain point it was simply parked next to the cache to reach the cache without getting killed by the bots that kept spawning on it. I suggest that the Logi is add and the troop Humvees and not the M113 units as they provide too much cover from the enemy.  This should also get the borach to shoot at the assets as currently it doesn’t shoot at the APC’s

 

But in general nice work man we should get a play date and get some of the peeps online.
