SnakeMan from PMC Tactical (the guys that did VTE mod) is looking for some players to help test out his missions on the PMC 51km Desert map.

Sunday after 2pm EST (6pm GMT) I'll be on his server if anyone would like to join. Will use our TS3 for comms. No idea what the mission(s) are like, but I'm sure we'll fuck them up somehow !crazy

Skype update re: missions

I've prepared some basic COOP missions, players vs AI which utilize the cool large terrain features of PMC 51km Desert.

[12:43:59 AM] Snake Man: I'm making 32 player slots, just in case you get huge number of guys joining, I cant imagine you'd get (or my server would run hehe) more than 32.

[12:44:31 AM | Edited 1:18:06 AM] Snake Man: I'm designing the missions for at least "few" players, like dunno maybe 5+ or so minimum, like to have helo pilots and tank/vehicle drivers etc.

[12:45:18 AM] Snake Man: trying to make the missions short, so that no one mission would take like 3hrs to complete so we'd get to test as many different "scenarios" as possible.

OK quick update. Rugen island is not needed (updated 1st post).

Yes it will be just vanilla plus the required mods for the island.

JSRS, blastcore and oktanes noBlur are allowed as client side mods but that is all.


the missions I did now are probably like bare minimum of 5 players. I designed them all as 32 players, but we can naturally disable AI for leftovers. for example one mission is hells highway, a long strech of two lane highway to be cleared by abrams tanks, support vehicles and one AH6 little bird (for some recon). with 5 players that mission I guess can work but will be extremely difficult

Not sure actually... I think the @ags mod is the buildings

I was unable to download any of the mods from the PMC website I had to use PlayWithSix

edit: maybe we need @ags_industrial and @ags_buildings as well.. I'll update 1st post

Thanks to those who played yesterday!! I think we should do that regularly in Arma 2... with some ACE sprinkled in there.

adding ACE to the tank mission and the Helicopter mission, would be awesome :)

Also, that is the greatest map for MSO i?ve seen(could use some texture though)

Gonna play a few more missions tomorrow (same time as last week) on the Rugen map. Same addons except you need @pmc_rugen as well.
