Battlefield 3.......How is it?

Men,

I wanted to see how everyones experience has been this first day of the release of Battlefield 3. Me know so I can upgrade my system to handle it.

Campaign is awesome, feels a lot like cod kinda but its still fun
Coop is great, its like mini SP missions, apache, stealth, urban defense
Starting MP now, the beta was decent, should be fun

overall i really like it!


edit: had an awesome round on this bazaar map or whatever its called, its basically karkand but a big square of just urban fighting, with points all over it, so you run in circles and cap and re cap..and its got like 2 lavs....good shit

I'd like to know if you still get blinding flares at distance from the enemies' rifle mounted flashlights in broad daylight in the multi-player.

yeah semler the flares are there but its not a sunburst anymore, its a small glint, maybe the size of their head. and it only works on sights above an acog-ish zoom i believe

Singleplayer is pretty lame. Boring and generic. It's like i've seen all that in some movie or another game.

- "Son, tell me everything about this evil guy and his evil device or my CIA buddy will have your ass"

- "Blah blah, I DON'T BELIEVE YOU Blah blah"
- "Sry, but i have to go. My planet needs me"

Saves the day at the last moment, everything is fine. The end.

And enemy AI is dumb as hell.

But multiplayer is very good, so i don't really care.

EDITED the above post; WhiteWolf, for embedding a youtube player, use just the bit of code at the end of the YouTube share link - just the alphanumericals. Test the size as well, I found medium is best, so write it like this:
